Kirstin Becker is a veterinarian and certified animal chiropractor who studied veterinary medicine in Hanover, Germany. After completing research at the university’s equine clinic, she earned her certification from the American Veterinary Chiropractic Association (AVCA) in 2002 and has since dedicated her practice exclusively to chiropractic care and other for both small animals and horses.

She has also completed postgraduate training in animal physiotherapy, osteopathy, fascia therapy and acupuncture with particular expertise in equine biomechanics, equine behavior, management, training, rehabilitation and hoof care. Kirstin is the author of a book on hoof protection and has published numerous articles on equine hoof care and equine posture.

An experienced international lecturer, she has taught across Europe and the United States on a wide variety of topics. She also contributed to the development of clinical competency standards for the International Veterinary Chiropractic Association (IVCA) and has been an instructor with the International Academy of Veterinary Chiropractic (IAVC) since its founding.

Winnie Dreschel graduated from the University of Leipzig in 2000 and gained early international experience at the University of Nairobi and the Kenya Wildlife Service. After several years in clinical practice, including specialisation in equine medicine, she trained in veterinary chiropractic at IAVC and earned certification from the International Veterinary Chiropractic Association. She further expanded her expertise through IVAS acupuncture certification, applied kinesiology, saddle fitting, and veterinary chiropractic specialisation. Since 2011, she has focused her professional work on chiropractic and acupuncture and currently owns her clinical practice in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, Germany.

Dr. Donald Moffatt graduated in the first class of the Atlantic Veterinary College at the University of Prince Edward Island in 1990, completed a large-animal internship at the University of Tennessee, and earned a Doctor of Veterinary Science in population medicine and epidemiology from the Ontario Veterinary College, University of Guelph, in 1997. First certified in animal chiropractic in 1996, he moved to Germany in 1997 and co-founded a referral practice for veterinary chiropractic in 1999. He has taught animal chiropractic since 2003 as a founding member of IAVC and the International Veterinary Chiropractic Association, bringing clinical education experience from Tennessee, Guelph, and IAVC.

Dr. Sybil Moffatt graduated from the University of Veterinary Medicine in Hannover in 1992 and completed postgraduate studies at the Equine Research Centre in Guelph, Canada. She became certified in animal chiropractic through the American Veterinary Chiropractic Association in 1996. Since 1999, Drs. Moffatt have founded and practised exclusively animal chiropractic in Northern Germany, with additional expertise in acupuncture and canine rehabilitation. She is a founding member and former board member of the International Veterinary Chiropractic Association, a founding partner of IAVC, and has lectured worldwide on veterinary chiropractic for more than two decades.

Dr. Jens Körner is a specialist in equine medicine and Clinic Director at Hanseklinik für Pferde in Sittensen. He leads orthopaedics, outpatient services and ambulatory practice, with a clinical focus on sport-horse orthopaedics, lameness diagnostics and pre-purchase examinations.

He is a Diplomate of both the European College of Veterinary Sports Medicine and Rehabilitation (Equine) and the American College of Veterinary Sports Medicine and Rehabilitation. His earlier work included equine surgery and radiology at Freie Universität Berlin, and he qualified as a specialist veterinarian for horses in 2009.
